Purpose and Culture
House of Prayer, Church of the Living God P.G.T. has a long, proud history of serving the community of Los Angeles. Through the dedication of our leadership, pastors and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message. We are open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds, and strive to lead all who worship with us towards a deeper love for God.

At House of Prayer, we pursue the Glory of God through worship, ministry, giving and education. We strive to connect with Jesus Christ and to each other, in order to magnify His name. At the heart of everything we do is the understanding that we must love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to treat our neighbors with love.
CHURCH CREED
I Believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth
And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,Â
suffered under the Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead and burried,
the third day he rose agin from the dead.
He ascended into Heaven,
and sitteth at the right-hand of God the Father Almighty;
fron hence He shall come to judge the quick and dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
The Holy Church of The Living God,
The Pillar and Ground of The Truth;
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrectionof the body,
and life everlasting.
